Studying In Canada

Want to study in Canada? Canada is considered the number one country in education. Find out if you eligible below.

AM I ELIGIBLE?

In order to study in Canada, you must have already been accepted by a college or university in Canada. This must be completed to achieve a study permit. We have over 300 partnerships with colleges and universities across of North America to help our clients find the right school and program.

Supporting Your Stay

Once the invitation from a designated learning institution is received, you must prove that you have enough money to pay for your time in Canada during your studies. This includes your tuition fees, living expenses for yourself and any family who will travel with you to Canada – including the cost of the travel.

Here is a table showing the minimum amount you will need:

Number of personsAll provinces except QuebecQuebec
Single studentTuition plus $10,000 for a 12-month period (or $833 per month)Tuition plus $11,000 for a 12-month period (or $917 per month)
+ one family member$4,000 for a 12-month period (or $333 per month)$5,100 more for a person 18 years of age or older for a 12-month period (or $425 per month)
$3,800 more for a person under 18 years of age for a 12-month period (or $317 per month)

$1,903 more for a person under 18 years of age for a 12-month period (or $159 per month)

The process also requires that you are a law-abiding citizen with no criminal record, sometimes including a police certificate proving so.

While you are studying in Canada you are able to travel back home to visit family, and even also eligible to work during your studies and after you graduate. You can work on-campus or off-campus, even without an additional work permit – if you meet the criteria.

On Jan. 12, 2022, the government of Ontario issued 502 Notifications of Interest (NOI) through its Human Capital Priorities Stream.

Express Entry – PNP Draw – January 5, 2022

The PNP is only one of the many programs open to foreign nationals who want to immigrate to Canada. Other than government policy, immigration trends also reflect international developments. According to the Express Entry Year-End Report of 2020, the IRCC started to focus on Canadian Experience Class after the COVID-19 pandemic began. In 2019, about half of all Invitations To Apply (ITA) were issued to candidates from the Federal Skilled Worker category. In 2020, that number dropped to 32 per cent. However, the government of Canada is projected to draw more than 25 per cent of 2022’s immigrants from the Federal High Skilled category. This includes popular immigration streams such as Federal Skilled Worker, Federal Skilled Trades and Canadian Experience Class.
