The province of British Columbia has invited 89 tech workers to apply for a provincial nomination on November 30th, 2021.

The invitations issued were for the BC PNP Tech, a stream in the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program.

In 2021, British Columbia has issued just over 11,000 invitations for their Provincial Nominee Programs.

About BC PNP Tech

The BC PNP Tech program provides tech employers the ability to recruit and retain in-demand international talent when local skilled workers are unavailable. The program was designed for local companies to have the ability to attract skilled workers globally and provide a fast-tracked, permanent residency pathway.

Tech entrepreneurs and skilled workers outside of Canada who are invited, help grow B.C’s tech sector stimulating the local economy, providing locals more job opportunities.

To be eligible for BC PNP Tech, you must fall under one of these 29 in-demand tech occupations that can be found here and have a valid job offer of 12 months from an eligible BC Tech employer, with at least 120 days remaining at the time of application to the BC PNP.
