Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada announces the elimination of Conditional Permanent Residence. Previously, persons who were subject to the condition were required to live with their spouse or partner for a period of two years after they became a permanent resident, as stated on their Confirmation of Permanent Residence document.

Ottawa (HOL) – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is making some key changes to his cabinet on Tuesday as his Liberal government prepares for a Trump presidency south of the border. Among key changes in the reshuffle are replacing Stephane Dion as foreign affairs minister and John McCallum in immigration.
